TEHRAN, May 17 (MNA) – Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL) has created regular services between the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean, Europe and the Far East.

Shipment of project cargoes for public goods kicked off halfway through the previous Iranian calendar year (ended March 20) by IRISL bulk carrier company who formed regular services between the Persian Gulf, the Mediterranean, Europe and the Far East. The project is capable of carrying heavy packages with a maximum weight of 500 tons.

According to the report, a package weighing 330 tons (length 31 m, width and height of about 4.5 meters), was unloaded from Baltic Harmony vessel at the port of Bandar Abbas last week to mark the heaviest and longest transported cargo since the project had begun.

For several decades, the IRISL shipping company has operated regular container and conventional liner services with 170 of its own ships.
